The Transfer General (TG) enables customers to share highly sensitive data in the most secure and compliant manner. The data is encrypted on-premises. Only encrypted data is shared with a partner. The TG can be used to share data directly with a partner or with help of a cloud storage bucket. No matter what option you pick, you can be rest assured that TG will share your data in the most secure manner possible while allowing you to maintain full control over it even after it has been shared.
TRANSFER GENERAL (TG) encrypts data on-premises and only encrypted data is shared with a partner. The data owner controls access to the shared data and can use the “kill switch” to terminate access at any time even after the data has been shared and resides within their partner’s network.
The Transfer General is offered as do-it-yourself solution or as a fully managed service. In both cases you’ll cut down on your operational cost while mitigating your security risk.

The MySQL Secured by SG is a ready-to-deploy MySQL server instance for Google customers who are looking for an additional layer of data security. The instance encrypts the MySQL data, controls access, and generates tamper-resistant logs. You control your own data encryption key while we make sure that it is available when you need it.
This self protecting MySQL server instance uses advanced security techniques such as Secure Boot, vTPM, UEFI firmware, integrity monitoring at the virtualization layer and transparent encryption, extended access controls, tamper-resistant logs at the data layer in order to protect the MySQL data against unauthorized access.
Moreover, the MySQL Secured by SG eliminates common configuration mistakes. One-click deployment makes it easy to use. This solution is especially suitable for customers who don’t accept their cloud provider’s “trust us” attitude.

The PostgreSQL Secured by SG is a ready-to-deploy Shielded PostgreSQL Server instance for Google Cloud customers and is designed to eliminate the need to build a patchwork security solutions in order to protect the PostgreSQL data. The instance uses advanced security techniques such as secure boot, vTPM, UEFI firmware, integrity monitoring at the virtualization layer and transparent encryption, extended access controls, tamper-resistant logs at the data layer in order to protect the PostgreSQL data.
The PostgreSQL Secured by SG is pre-configured to provide maximum data security to the PostgreSQL data. The data is encrypted transparently and additional protection is provided with help of extended Access Control mechanisms that make it harder for unauthorized users to view the data.
